I’m Nolan Altenhofen. I love to snowboard, eat, and hang out with my family. I am very interested in graphic design but have no experience so I ended up taking Intro to Graphic Design this term. I have yet to declare a major so maybe this class will inspire me to do something in the world or graphic design.
Born in Portland, Oregon
Parent’s Dean and Sunday Altenhofen welcomed the last of three children into the world on may, 8th, 2001.
Moved to a new house.
I only moved one neighborhood away from my old house but, It changed my life forever as I was making new friends who will be in my life forever.
Played my first season of lacrosse.
Lacrosse ended up giving me a lot of needed confidence as a kid because I didn’t really get it anywhere else. I was always bad at sports and somewhat socially awkward as a kid. Thankfully I was naturally good at lacrosse and I found myself escaping to it a lot.
Started High school.
High school proved to be a challenging time. I thought I knew everything and was ready for the “real world” and didn’t respond to authority all that well.
Went snowboarding for the first time. Completely unaware it would take over my life one day.
Made Second Team All-Metro as a sophomore in High school.
Made the Oregon All-Star team as a Junior in High school.
Move to Bend, Oregon with three of my best friends to pursue a college degree and good snowboarding.
